Should we break NASA up into several companies that compete with one another?

Plenty of private companies make plenty of money producing goods and services for NASA. You really think they build the Shuttles all by themselves? I agree with another poster--most of the major accomplishments in the US have come from government and quasi-governmental organizations and/or their vendors.
